Meet Your Instructor...

Ali ‘Grace’ Rapetti is a music maven- a seasoned vocalist and guitarist who has performed both solo and in a band-capacity for the past two decades. Grace’s passion as a coach is in helping her students find their authentic creative voices, whether in singing, on their instruments or in their original songs. For more than nine years, Grace served as a certified music therapist in end-of-life care where she utilized clinical music to address personalized patient goals. She is the cofounder of the non-profit organization Arts Education International, which provides sustainable, community-based arts programs for orphaned children all over the world. She earned the Walter W. Harp Liberal Arts Music and Society Award from the Berklee College of Music, which recognized her outstanding service to the music community at large. Grace holds two music related degrees from the University of Colorado at Boulder and the Berklee College of Music, where she graduated Suma Cum Laude. Two of her original songs are used as world-wide online course material, and her song and tutorial on her original song "For Amelia" was published in Writer's Digest. She is featured in Rolling Stone and on NPR for her version of Beck’s “Old Shanghai (click on hyperlink: http://www.rollingstone.com/music/albumreviews/song-reader-20121228). She was a five-year member of the remarkable Boston-based ensemble, Women of the World, and was also a singer in the rock group, Big D and the Kids Table. Grace has sung at Carnegie Hall, performed for the United Nations, written music with John Mayer, created a song for UNICEF,. She also is a  certified Disney female vocal artist featured on T-Mobile ringtones, and has shared stages with Bobby McFerrin, Taj Mahal, Mavis Staples, Angelique Kidjo, The Eagles, Allison Krauss, Willie Nelson, Carol King, and Annie Lennox.

Through breath work, physiological study, and invigorating practice within the music, you'll find yourself in a safe and playful space where you can experiment and grow your inherent talents. Be it vocal technique, songwriting, or performance, we'll harness your creative power and hone it, helping you conquer your unique musical goals.

Whether you've been singing for as long as you can remember or are discovering your voice for the first time, we'll find the most direct route to translate your life experience into your art. It's profound how much we discover about ourselves when we build our relationship with our own voices, and do so in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. In our Ravenhouse vocal sessions, you have the opportunity to come as you are- to play, experiment, dare greatly, and focus on you.
